The Connection is a high energy, old school funk and R&B band based in Cincinnati, Ohio. To some, a soul band consisting of just guitar, bass, drums, tenor sax may seem small, however the band packs a big punch of sound that features soul vocalist extraordinaire Daveed "Big Fun" Owens.

With the prowess of a seasoned veteran, "Big Fun" directs the band through the hits of the 60's & 70's, covering artists such as James Brown, Marvin Gaye, The Commodores, Temptations, Kool and the Gang, Bob Marley and Stevie Wonder.
